Shipwrecked

I have been to CY O’Connor beach (Western Australia) a few times & never noticed the Wyola shipwreck thats been here since 1970. But thats the beauty of this blog, its making me open my eyes more & appreciate absolutely EVERYTHING & explore more of Western Australia.

ImageThe added bonus is that is absolutely FREE & its only 30 minutes from Perth city. You can get upclose & personal to a slice of history & get snap happy with your photo infront of the wreck too. All while taking in the pristine ocean views behind.

ImageIt was sunny warm-ish weather however the water was icy-cold. Dog lovers are allowed to bring their dogs to this beach & they run wild & free. Just like us. Its days like this that make me long for Summer. Plus we have plans to go to Rottnest Island which is on our coastline & our lil man will see his first Quokka animal which is native there.

ImageWe couldnt resist collecting seashells & making love-heart shapes in the sand. I love watching K-bear’s face when he holds a shell in his hand & ponders what it could possibly be. Priceless!

Happy travels
