Winter festival

Living in Western Australia means we never get to see snow or ice as we are never cold enough so last weekend we jumped at the chance to see an outdoor ice rink at The Winter Festival at Fremantle’s esplanade.

At first we were worried as we werent sure if any boots would fit our lil K-bear. But after huffing & puffing to the poor cashier that smallest boot were too big (after paying our entry fee). The manager kindly showed us how to adjust them to make them smaller. If only we were told that before… Anyhow how cute do K-bear’s fireman shoes looks in the ice-skating shoes??? Love love.

And all set ready to skate with daddy. YEEHAA!!!

A happy child= 2 happy parents:)

He is happiest texting his mates to come join him at the ice-skate park…

Overall it was fun but it was a lot of work to get him to sit still enough to get the ice skates on so I think we got our fill of ice-skating until we can one day make it to the Rockefellar ice skating rink in New York. Ah one day…
